Monks of New Skete Guest House Information

We have a simple guest house with three rooms, two each with two single beds and one with bunk beds.  Bathroom facilities are shared.  A small sitting room is communal.  Guests take meals with the community, and are invited to join us for the daily offices of Matins and Vespers, as well as Divine Liturgy on Sunday.

We accept guests from Friday through Sunday except on the first weekend of each month.  The entire Monastery is on retreat from August 15 to September 14, and during our mid-winter retreat, usually in the month of February when we do not accept any guests.  Guest rooms are usually booked several weeks in advance. We ask a stipend of $50 per person, per day for room and meals. This is the suggested offering; anyone who cannot afford that amount may give what they can.

Hospitality is an important monastic value, and we do our best to offer it with our limited facilities.
