Our friend and local herbalist, Mary Muncil, hand-produces this salve in small batches. Made in the time-honored tradition thousands of years old, roots and resins are placed in olive oil and slowly warmed over several days while being stirred periodically so that the essence of the herbs slowly seeps into the oil. It has a wonderful scent and we've found it to be an excellent moisturizer which also works very well on chapped, irritated or dry skin.
